The Parenting Workshops are designed to guide and support parents as they improve their communication, problem solving, and guidance skills with their children, through personalized classes and workshops. The emphasis is on building skills, providing support, and helping parents understand the needs and abilities of children during different stages of development.

New Mexico Family Education Center, Inc. (NMFEC) is a 501 (c) (3), New Mexico non profit corporation which began in 2005, to provide Parenting Education and other Supportive Educational opportunities for families and children who are economically disadvantaged. The facility is open six days a week, and provides Educational Workshops and Classes in Parenting Young Children, Parenting Teenagers, Padres Activos de Hoy, Cooperative Parenting & Divorce, and Truancy Prevention Programs for Parents of Elementary, Middle and High School Students and Job Development. The Agency is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Making these services available to more clients in the community is the goal of NMFEC.
