Caring for Infants & Toddlers in Groups

10:30PM to 2:30PM

  • Caring for Infants & Toddlers in Groups: DAP

We will describe our current understanding of early development and explore the elements of quality in-group care that support strong relationships and positive learning experiences. It reflects the major concepts articulated in the National Association for the Education of Young Children position on Developmentally Appropriate Practice (National Association for the Education of Young Children, 2008). It presents stories that exemplify responsive, relationship-based practice and provides examples of reflective practice in early group care.
